The Rotary club of Cannock are looking for golfers to take part in their annual charity golf day on Tuesday 24thSeptember at The Chase Golf club.
The event is very popular with local golfers, a number of teams who took part in the past have already entered again this year. The day is much more than around of golf its about raising funds to help the local community,
Last years event raised £5000 and every penny was donated to charities and good causes across the local area,
The day includes Bacon rolls and coffee on arrival, an 18-hole team competition on the magnificent par 72 parklands golf course , followed by a two-course meal in the club house.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams plus longest drive and nearest pin competitions
Entry into the golf day is just £250 for a team of 4 with all proceeds going to charity
The day also brings businesses together to enable networking whilst enjoying a game of golf.
This event has been held on an annual basis for over 13 years with nearly £70,000 being donated to local and Rotary charities, it’s the club’s largest single day fund raising event.
