Rotary in Cannock support the initiative “Lend with Care” an initiative from poverty-fighting charity, CARE International UK. Its aims are to help poor people in developing countries to access small “business loans” to start or expand their business. Rather than receiving a one-off charity donation, these entrepreneurs pay back their loan over an agreed period.

On 28th March the snooker team potted success in the District 1210 snooker final defeating the Rotary club of Audley in a very competitive game at Stafford Snooker centre. Project North Star 21st February 2024, members of Cannock Rotary heard about the North Star Project from PP Maurice Cryer our club Membership Lead. Rotary International has approved this five-year pilot for Rotary Great Britain and Ireland as well as Australia and New Zealand, as these are two regions experiencing a significant decline in membership.
